FCA-authorised firms in the UK, in one search.

The FCA register, made browsable.

Every firm offering regulated financial services in the UK must be authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority — banks, brokers, advisers, insurers, and lenders.

The FCA publishes the register so anyone can verify that a firm or individual is allowed to do business. It's comprehensive, but you can only really use it if you already know who you're looking for.

I wanted to see every credit broker in one list. I wanted to see which firms are in my area. I couldn't, so I built this.

authorised.fyi is a faster, friendlier interface to the same data. Look up firms by name, FRN, or postcode. Browse by category or location. See permissions, addresses, and history at a glance, all sourced directly from the FCA.

Built it for myself, giving it away. Not affiliated with the FCA, and not a substitute for advice — always confirm important details on the official register at register.fca.org.uk .
